Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Testing Engineer with strong experience in software quality assurance and testing to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of applications through functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
Perform API and application testing to validate system functionality.
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve defects.
Execute regression testing after new features, fixes, and releases.
Establish and maintain quality gates to ensure software meets defined quality standards before release.
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into the development and release process.
Monitor test results and provide clear QA status and release-readiness reports.
Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Experience in test automation and working with automation frameworks.
Good understanding of API testing and software testing methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes.
Experience implementing or working with quality gates and release criteria.
Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems such as Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment in Karachi.

Preferred:

Experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar CI/CD tools.
Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
