KalSoft is seeking an experienced ETL Developer & Data Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL Server Administration, Database Development, Data Warehousing, ETL processes, Business Intelligence solutions, and enterprise reporting systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data integration solutions and data warehouse environments while ensuring high performance, availability, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

Design and create mappings using SSIS transformations like OLEDB Command, Conditional Split, Lookup, Aggregate, Multicast, Derived Column, etc.
Design dynamic SSIS packages for cross-platform data migration, validation, and data archiving across different RDBMS
Develop complex stored procedures and user-defined functions for SSIS packages and SQL scripts
Design and implement ETL and Data Integration processes using SSIS for Data Warehouse reporting
Develop SSAS solutions including storage, partitions, aggregations, MDX calculations, and data mining models
Support BI reporting using SQL and MDX queries
Ensure data modeling using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
Implement and support HA/DR solutions for BI environments
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL Server performance and ETL workflows
Perform SQL Server maintenance and automation tasks (backup, restore, log management, etc.)

Requirements

Degree in Software Engineering, or similar
Microsoft Certifications for SQL Server, Business Intelligence, Data Science
Total 7+ Years of hands-on experience in SQL Server Administration and Development including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
3+ years of extensive experience with SSIS tool suite
2+ years of experience in SSAS (storage, partitions, aggregations, MDX, data mining models)
3+ years of experience in data modeling using Snowflake and Star schemas
2+ years of experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery in BI environments
4+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries (MS SQL Server and Oracle)
2+ years of experience with SQL Server automation (backup, restore, log cleaning, etc.)
2+ years of experience with SQL Server maintenance operations
Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and communication skills
