Power BI Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and visualization using Power BI. As a Power BI Consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design and develop Power BI solutions, and provide expertise in data modeling and visualization best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and understand data needs.
2. Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models based on client requirements.
3. Implement data transformations and ETL processes to prepare data for analysis and visualization.
4. Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to clients in deploying and managing Power BI solutions.
6. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data connections, and performance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
3. Strong proficiency in Power Query M language and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
4. Experience in data modeling and designing efficient data schemas for Power BI solutions.
5. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
9. Power BI certification(s) preferred.
10. Must be available during EST time zone working hours.
